JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently looking for suitable candidates to join a warehouse team in the Hougang area as Temporary Warehouse Packers. This position is suitable for candidates who are looking for temporary, part-time or contract employment and are able to commit to the role for a minimum period of 3 to 6 months.

Candidates without previous warehouse experience are welcome to apply. No prior warehouse experience is required for this position. New employees will receive instructions on the assigned duties and are expected to follow the warehouse procedures and guidance provided by the supervisor.

The successful candidates will assist with the daily warehouse operations, including picking and packing of goods, labelling of items, checking products, moving cartons, loading and unloading goods, organizing warehouse items and carrying out other duties required for smooth warehouse operations.

Candidates should be physically fit, responsible and willing to perform hands-on warehouse duties. As the position involves handling cartons and moving goods, applicants should be comfortable with standing, walking, lifting and carrying items during working hours.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The main responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

1. Picking products and items according to the assigned orders and warehouse instructions.
2. Packing products properly and ensuring that items are prepared for delivery, collection or storage.
3. Checking product quantities and item details before completing the packing process.
4. Labelling cartons, packages and individual items accurately according to the required procedures.
5. Sorting goods and arranging products according to the assigned warehouse locations.
6. Assisting with the movement of cartons, packages and other warehouse items.
7. Loading and unloading goods from vehicles, delivery areas and warehouse locations when required.
8. Carrying boxes and other items as part of the daily warehouse operations.
9. Organizing packed goods in the appropriate areas to ensure that the warehouse remains orderly.
10. Assisting supervisors and warehouse staff with daily operational tasks.
11. Supporting stock handling activities when required.
12. Checking packages for visible damage or incorrect labelling and reporting issues to the supervisor.
13. Maintaining cleanliness and general organization within the assigned working area.
14. Following warehouse safety procedures and company instructions at all times.
15. Performing other ad-hoc warehouse duties assigned by the supervisor or management.

WORKING HOURS

The standard working schedule is:

Monday to Friday
9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Overtime may be available depending on workload and operational requirements.

Overtime Support: Up to approximately 9:00 PM when required
Overtime Rate: $15/Hour

Candidates who are able to support overtime when required may be given additional working opportunities, subject to the company’s operational needs.

Working hours may vary depending on the actual warehouse workload, operational requirements and instructions from the employer.

SALARY INFORMATION

Basic Rate: $10/Hour

Overtime Rate: $15/Hour

The position offers an hourly basic rate with additional overtime opportunities when overtime work is available and approved by the company.

Actual monthly earnings may vary depending on the number of working days, total hours worked, overtime hours and the company’s operational schedule.

REQUIREMENTS

Candidates applying for this position should meet the following requirements:

• No previous warehouse experience is required.
• Candidates must be willing to learn warehouse procedures.
• Able to commit for a minimum of 3–6 months.
• Able to work 5 days per week.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
• Physically fit and able to handle boxes and warehouse items.
• Able to perform repetitive picking and packing duties.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods during working hours.
• Able to follow instructions from supervisors.
• Responsible and punctual.
• Willing to perform loading and unloading duties when required.
• Able to work independently as well as with a team.
• Willing to perform additional warehouse duties when assigned.
• Candidates who can start ASAP are preferred.

NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED

This position is open to candidates without previous warehouse or logistics experience.

Candidates who have never worked in a warehouse environment may still apply, provided they are willing to learn and able to perform the required duties.

The role provides an opportunity to gain practical experience in warehouse operations, including order picking, packing, labelling, stock handling and basic logistics support.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The successful candidate will work as part of a warehouse and logistics team. Daily duties may involve moving between different warehouse areas, preparing orders, organizing goods and assisting with incoming or outgoing items.

The warehouse environment can be busy, particularly during periods of high order volume. Candidates should therefore be prepared to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy and following the required procedures.

Good teamwork is important because warehouse operations involve coordination between packers, warehouse assistants, supervisors, delivery teams and other operational staff.
